Why Travelers Choose Us
Everything you need, nothing you don't.
Every guide is verified
Licensed JNTO guides with identity + language checked in person. No middlemen, no scams.
In your language
Filter for native-fluency Spanish, English, French, German, Portuguese, Italian or Japanese guides.
Replies in < 2h
Our ranking penalizes slow guides. Expect a real, human reply within 2 hours — usually faster.
No booking fees
Travelers pay zero markup. Only a tiny platform fee is charged to the guide — you pay their rate, period.
The Differentiator
Your Japan, saved forever.
Most booking platforms forget you the moment your trip ends. We built Trip Vault so your Japan journey keeps going long after the last ramen bowl.

How we stack up
Before You Ask
Frequently asked questions
Do I pay anything extra as a traveler?
No. You pay the guide's listed rate and nothing else — there's no traveler-side booking fee. The 9% platform fee comes out of the guide's side, not yours.
When am I actually charged?
Only after the guide accepts your booking request. Up until that point you can compare, request, chat and cancel with no commitment.
What if I need to cancel?
Full refund up to 7 days before, 50% between 3–7 days, no refund within 72h. Each guide sets their own terms — check the booking confirmation.
How do I know guides are real?
Every guide is a licensed JNTO (Japan National Tourism) certified interpreter-guide and we verify their credentials before they can accept a booking.
What is the Trip Vault?
Your personal memory space. Save guides you like, pin cities you want to visit, keep notes and photos from past trips — all linked to your real bookings. Think of it as your private Japan travel diary.
