Do I need a JNTO license to join?
Yes — we only onboard licensed guides. This protects travelers and maintains our quality standard. If you have your license, the verification process takes under 48 hours.
How do I get paid?
Payouts go directly to your bank via Stripe Connect, usually within 48 hours after a tour is completed. You keep 91% of each booking, or 95% on Elite.
Can I set my own rates?
Absolutely. Full pricing autonomy. We suggest benchmarks based on your city and experience, but you set the final rate.
Do I have to pay to join?
No. Creating a profile and getting bookings is 100% free — we take 9% on completed bookings (5% for Elite tier). Optional boosts start at $10.
How many bookings can I expect?
Active guides with complete profiles average 8-18 bookings per month. Featured guides typically see 2-3× that volume.
What if a booking gets cancelled?
Same-day cancellations get you 100% of the fee. 3-7 day cancellations are partial. Full cancellation policy is in our Terms.
